Rubik's match
An iconic puzzle, reimagined for mobile match-3. Rubik’s Match is the official Rubik’s game for iOS and Android, released for the brand’s 50th anniversary. We joined Nördlight as a co-dev partner on gameplay, 3D art and animation, and live service backend. In the process, we turned our office into a low-key shrine to cube solving.
Working side by side with Nördlight with an embedded team of game devs, we helped translate the cube’s color logic into responsive match-3 gameplay and a modern content pipeline. The result is a bright, 3D-forward puzzle experience that feels instantly familiar to Rubik’s fans, yet is designed for mobile play sessions and live operations. Rubik’s Match is available on the App Store and Google Play.
